About FA:U
Decaf
FA: United '08 is produced and organized by the rockin' collaboration of the crew from the NAA (Northeast Anthropomorphic Association) and Fur Affinity.

The Northeast Anthropomorphic Association is a small, non-profit organization run from the heart of the Garden State, New Jersey. The NAA was founded by a close knit group of local furs who saw the opportunity to put together a summertime bash and unite the community together for a relaxful weekend of friends and fun.

As it happened, Fur Affinity also saw the need to help bring the community closer together, and banded together with members of the NAA to help produce and organize the freshest new convention on the East Coast: FA: United.

With Fur Affinity handling advertising, community outreach and promotions, the NAA remains free to work on the heart of the convention, ensuring the nuts-and-bolts are tightly fastened. Together, each group works in tandem to ensure that the community has the very best in convention support line to produce one of the newest, freshest faces on the block.

History
In its first year debut in 2007, FA: United managed to attract 310 attendees, making its opening debut one of the largest for a first year convention. FA: United '07 was host to live music performances featuring the Gay Blades, Sikamor Rooney and Zsa Zsa Gabortion. Music is tightly integrated into the FA: United ideal, and the live performances are offered to attendees at no cost.

Not only that, but FA: United was able to raise over $1,000 for it's charity, the Lakota Wolf Preserve.

FA: United's first year debut set the stage, and 2008 is ramping up the game on every level.
